Ocean views, a little Florida weather anxiety, and a Taylor Swift-inspired surprise! Brianna and Luckhe's wedding at Beach House Fort Lauderdale, a Hilton Resort, was filled with beautiful moments, personal touches, and plenty of emotion.

Located directly across from Fort Lauderdale Beach, this wedding venue offers a gorgeous oceanfront ceremony space, an outdoor cocktail terrace, and an indoor ballroom for celebrating the night away.

An Oceanfront Ceremony at the Rotunda

For the entire week leading up to the wedding, Brianna was worried about one thing: rain! And honestly, planning an outdoor wedding in South Florida means keeping a very close eye on that forecast.

Thankfully, Brianna and Luckhe were able to exchange vows at the resort's beautiful Rotunda, an open-air ceremony space overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.

With panoramic beach views and the ocean as their backdrop, the Rotunda is one of the most recognizable features of this Fort Lauderdale wedding venue. It's perfect for couples who want that coastal wedding atmosphere without having their ceremony directly on the sand.

And through all the wedding-week nerves, Brianna's mom was right there supporting her.

Cocktail Hour, Beach Portraits & a Ballroom Reception

After the ceremony, guests enjoyed cocktail hour on the BalQony terrace, located just below the Rotunda. With fresh ocean air and views of Fort Lauderdale Beach, it's a beautiful way to transition from the ceremony into the reception.

One of my favorite things about photographing weddings at Beach House Fort Lauderdale is the easy access to the beach for portraits.

We took advantage of the shoreline for Brianna and Luckhe's wedding photos, creating some beautiful moments together away from the excitement of the celebration.

A little photographer tip: If you're getting married here, try to leave time minutes in your timeline for beach portraits around sunset. The softer evening light makes such a difference!

The celebration then continued inside the resort's spacious Del Sol Ballroom, giving everyone a comfortable indoor space to dance the night away.

A Taylor Swift Surprise & a Dress With a Story

One of my favorite details from Brianna and Luckhe's wedding wasn't just beautiful—it was incredibly meaningful.

Brianna had her mom's wedding dress repurposed into a short party dress for the reception!

She made her entrance wearing this special dress to Taylor Swift's "Opalite," bringing a little Swiftie magic to the celebration.

After a week of worrying about the weather and leaning on her mom for support, it was such a sweet way to incorporate a piece of her mom's own wedding day into hers.

Those personal details are always some of my favorite things to photograph. They're what make every wedding story different.

Planning a Wedding at Beach House Fort Lauderdale?

If you're considering this oceanfront Fort Lauderdale wedding venue, here are a few things worth knowing.

Is the Rotunda ceremony space outdoors?

Yes! The Rotunda is an open-air space with beautiful views of the Atlantic Ocean. It accommodates up to approximately 130 guests, depending on the setup.

What happens if it rains?

The resort offers indoor backup options for outdoor ceremonies. My biggest advice is to ask to see the rain backup space before booking, especially if you're planning a wedding during Florida's rainy season.

Can you take wedding photos on the beach?

Absolutely! Fort Lauderdale Beach is just across the street. It's a great location for romantic portraits, especially later in the day when the sunlight becomes softer.

Can the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all happen at the resort?

Yes! Couples can host their ceremony at the Rotunda, cocktail hour on the outdoor terrace, and reception inside the Del Sol Ballroom, keeping the celebration in one convenient location.

An Experienced Planning Team Makes a Difference

Brianna and Luckhe worked with JM Events, a wedding planning team that has coordinated more than 25 weddings at this property.

Having planners who know the venue, its layout, and how the different event spaces flow together can make a huge difference on the wedding day.

Especially when South Florida weather keeps everyone guessing!
