Hi everyone! My name is Camilla with Wanderlust Studios and I am thrilled to be writing my very first blog post. I’m a family photographer based in Fort Lauderdale, where I have the pleasure of capturing life’s special moments and creating lasting memories for families. Today, I want to share an awesome experience I had recently that truly ignited my passion and reminded me why I love photography.

I had the amazing opportunity to photograph an event in Davie, Florida, called Musica with Sarah. This event celebrates the joy of music and learning in an inclusive environment for kids and their families. Musica with Sarah is all about providing a unique space where children can explore bilingual music while having fun and engaging with others.

During the event, I witnessed so many beautiful moments: families laughing, kids dancing, and everyone enjoying the magical atmosphere created by the music. One of the most delightful aspects was how the children got to touch and play with all kinds of sensory items related to music. From colorful shakers and soft drums to textured mats and vibrant scarves, the sensory activities added another layer of fun and engagement, allowing kids to connect with music through play. It was inspiring to see how joyful and interactive the experience was for everyone involved. I was able to capture these candid moments through my lens, freezing time for families to cherish.

One of the highlights of the day was meeting Sarah, the heart behind Musica with Sarah, who works in children’s education at a Montessori school. Her dedication to fostering a love for learning in young children is truly commendable. Sarah’s dream is to create a space where she can combine her musical events with educational practices for her students, blending the arts with learning in a way that enhances their development.
